Your Questions, Answered

  • We are always looking for exceptional local talent. To apply for a stall, please visit the Exhibitor Form and complete the application form.

We curate our markets to ensure a diverse and high-quality range of products for our visitors, so please include photos of your work and your stall setup.

  • All traders must have valid Public Liability Insurance and, where applicable, relevant food hygiene certificates.

We prioritise makers who design and create their own products, as our mission is to support original craftsmanship and locally sourced goods.

  • One of the benefits of our indoor venues is the infrastructure already in place.

Depending on the specific event and venue layout, we often provide a standard trestle table and chairs.

    Sometimes we have round tables!

Full details regarding pitch sizes and equipment are provided in our "Trader Info Pack" once your application is successful.

  • To ensure our markets remain a vibrant platform for everyone, we strictly limit each category to two vendors. This reduces direct competition and offers our visitors a broader range of products.

We do try to champion local to each event first.

We look for high-quality, handcrafted items that reflect the best of Kent’s craftsmanship.

  • Our indoor stalls start at £40 per day.

This fee is an investment in the event's success; we run extensive marketing campaigns including roadside banners, local radio adverts, and targeted social media promotions.

On-site, we also provide support all day and also do large amounts of advertising throughout the day

  • While we invest heavily in professional advertising, we believe the most successful events are a partnership.

We ask all our exhibitors to share the event on their own social media channels. This helps your loyal shoppers find you and introduces your work to a wider audience.

  • Absolutely. Because we strictly limit categories to just two makers (e.g., one silver and one resin jewellery stand), spaces fill up incredibly fast.

If you don't secure a spot for a specific event, please do not be discouraged.

  • We are dedicated to ensuring our events never look the same year on year.

To keep the experience vibrant for our regular visitors, we purposefully "mix it up" by rotating our selection of artisans.

This variety gives more local makers the opportunity to showcase their craft and ensures there is always something new for our shoppers to discover.

  • We keep our applications open year-round to ensure we are always discovering fresh, local talent.

By reviewing the full pool of applicants closer to the event date, we can carefully curate a balanced line-up that includes both our "old favourites" and exciting new makers.

This approach allows us to give everyone a fair opportunity and ensures the event remains a diverse showcase of Kent’s ever-evolving creative scene.

  • We host events at various beautiful locations across the Kent countryside and coast.

While we are based near Dover, our markets move between venues like Solton Manor and other local landmarks.

Each event's specific location and parking details are listed on our "Upcoming Events" page.

  • Currently ALL of our community gatherings are free to enter.

In the future we may have a small admission fee to help cover venue costs and safety staff.

Please check the individual event listing for details.

Entry requirements vary depending on the venue and the scale of the event.

  • We aim to make our markets as inclusive as possible.

We strive to select venues that provide easy access for all. Most of our indoor spaces, such as the ground-floor barns and manor rooms, are accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us in advance so we can assist.

Most of our events are family-friendly but they are not aimed at younger members as we don’t have Father Christmas for instance.

Dog policies are determined by our host venues; however, for the Solton Manor markets, well-behaved dogs on leads are usually very welcome.

  • We pride ourselves on showcasing authentic local craftsmanship. You will find a curated selection of handcrafted jewellery, ceramics, textiles, woodwork, and locally sourced food and drink. Every item is a reflection of the incredible talent found right here in Kent.

  • Absolutely. We believe a market should be a social experience!

Most of our events feature a licensed bar for hot and cold drinks (including hot chocolates), alongside a selection of delicious local food options.

  • Not at all.

Currently we do not host outdoor events; everything takes place within beautiful, weather-proof indoor venues.

You can enjoy a comfortable browse through our markets regardless of the British weather.

  • Most of our artisans use mobile card readers.

However, as some of our lovely rural venues can have patchy signal, we recommend bringing some cash along as a backup to ensure you don't miss out on a one-of-a-kind find.

  • If you want to get a feel for the atmosphere, please visit our Events page.

We had professional photographs taken last year that beautifully capture the vibrant energy, the stunning indoor settings, and the high quality of the handcrafted goods on display.

  • Be sure to follow us on social media and check our website regularly.

We pride ourselves on our proactive advertising, so keep an ear out for us on the radio and look out for our banners around the local area!
